The Valkyrie Queen is the flagship boss of Aether Legends: a flying sword-and-spear warrior with 228 health, challenged with 10 Victory Medals, who on defeat can be spared for the Valkyrie Horn or slain for the Valkyrie Sword.
Behavior
The Valkyrie Queen fights as a one-on-one duel, and she alternates between a grounded phase and an aerial phase. On the ground she attacks with a sword slash that deals about 8 damage and a forward lunge that deals about 14 damage, calls down lightning, and sets you on fire briefly. Between strikes she uses footwork to control spacing, sidestepping and darting in and out of reach until she picks her moment. In the air she circles overhead and looses volleys of feathers, about ten at a time, each dealing around 3 damage and knocking you back. She resists knockback almost entirely, so hits that would send other mobs flying barely move her.
The killing blow does not kill her. Instead it drops her to her knees, and you choose how the fight ends. Spare her and she gives you the Valkyrie Horn; slay her and she leaves behind the Valkyrie Sword.
Summoning
The Valkyrie Queen never spawns in the wild — she awaits challengers on her throne deep in the Valkyrie Queen Dungeon. To call her to battle, hold 10Victory Medals in hand and offer them at the throne, or summon her through the Valkyrie Altar. The world's difficulty must be set to Easy or above.
If you slay her, the Valkyrie Altar rises after a 10-minute cooldown so you can face her again — another 10 medals for a fresh challenger, or free for any player who already paid the toll.
