How can I play Aether Legends?
Aether Legends will be available for purchase on the Minecraft Marketplace on July 14, 2026. It will run on mobile, PC, and consoles, including Switch.
Is Aether Legends official?
This is an official collaboration between The Aether Team and Spark Universe. The original Aether mod came out 15 years ago. Together, we reimagined this beloved classic, finally bringing the Aether dimension to Bedrock for the first time.
Why is Aether Legends not an Add-On?
Aether Legends is a Dynamic World that is using Bedrock’s new dimension tech to place a curated, pre-built world in a new dimension. This is currently not possible in an Add-On.
Why is Aether Legends a pre-built dimension?
We chose to create a massive 5,000 x 5,000 pre-built world because the new dimension tech is not capable of generating the types of worlds we all imagine, it only works for very basic terrain shapes.
Is Aether Legends compatible with Add-Ons?
You can add any Add-On to Aether Legends, however, full compatibility is not always guaranteed. You can find recommended Add-Ons on our Discord.
