Sun Crystal
Sun Crystal is a bright, decorative crystal that emits light and is found growing across sunlit parts of the Aether. It can be gathered by hand and shaped into blocks.
Usage
Sun Crystals are primarily decorative and give off a warm glow (light level 8). They can be crafted into a Block of Sun Crystal for storage, which in turn makes Polished Sun Crystal and Sun Crystalline. Sun Crystals can also be produced by smelting Sun Dust.

Obtaining
Sun Crystal is obtained by mining Sun Crystal formations (which also drop 1-3 from a Sun Crystal Layer), by crafting a Block of Sun Crystal back into 9 Sun Crystals, or by smelting Sun Dust in a furnace.
