Bronze Treasure Chests are the entry-tier locked chests found throughout the Aether. Open one with a Bronze Key to claim its loot — but beware, a chest may secretly be a Mimic.
Variants
Three variants can be placed by the player, each behaving differently when opened:
Bronze Chest — always contains loot; never a mimic. A safe, guaranteed reward.
Bronze Mimic Chest — always a Mimic in disguise; it springs to life and attacks when opened.
Bronze Imposter Chest — a gamble: it may hold loot, or it may turn out to be a Mimic. This is how chests behave when found naturally.
Loot
Bronze chests hold entry-level rewards: Zanite gear (occasionally enchanted), a Tier 1 artifact, a random Relic, useful consumables and utility items (including Ancient Plate, darts, Hearthstone, Mending Brew, Totem of Unfalling), plus food and resource bundles. They frequently contain a Silver Key to advance to the next tier.
