The Aerbunny is a small, harmless floating rabbit of the Aether that can be picked up and carried on the player's head to break falls.
Behavior
The Aerbunny is a passive creature that never attacks. It hops and strolls around, periodically inflating and deflating its puffy body, and it will flee in a panic when struck. It is drawn to a wide range of foods, following players holding carrots, golden carrots, and many Aether flowers and fruits. Interacting with an Aerbunny picks it up and mounts it on the player's head, where it acts as a personal parachute; hitting it or attacking again dismounts it. It can also be leashed and floats gently rather than taking fall damage.
Spawning
Aerbunnies spawn on the surface in small herds throughout the grassy and forested biomes of the Aether.

Drops
On death the Aerbunny drops standard rabbit loot (rabbit hide and raw rabbit) along with an occasional feather, and has a rare chance to drop a dungeon key: a Bronze Key, Silver Key, or Golden Key.
