The Golden Goose is a shy, waddling bird of the Aether that periodically lays valuable Golden Eggs.
Behavior
The Golden Goose is a passive bird that never attacks and skittishly flees from players who approach, sprinting away in a panic when struck. It strolls and pecks around the surface, is drawn to a variety of seeds and Aether crops, and floats gently so never takes fall damage. As it wanders, an adult Golden Goose periodically lays a Golden Egg on the ground with a soft "plop". Geese can be leashed and led around.
Spawning
Golden Geese spawn naturally on the surface of the Aether's open, grassy biomes. They occasionally spawn as babies.

Breeding
Golden Geese can be bred by feeding two adults seeds — wheat, beetroot, melon, pumpkin, or torchflower seeds, or Corn. Babies grow into adults over time and can be fed the same seeds to speed up their growth.
Drops
On death the Golden Goose drops chicken loot (raw chicken and a feather) along with 0–4 gold nuggets, and has a rare chance to drop a dungeon key: a Bronze Key, Silver Key, or Golden Key. While alive, adults also periodically lay Golden Eggs.
