The Angel is a passive, winged humanoid of the Aether that glides through the skies and trades with players like a villager.
Behavior
The Angel is a passive mob that acts as the Aether's version of a villager. When players are nearby it lands and walks on the ground, opening a trade screen when interacted with; each Angel takes on one of fourteen professions (such as farmer, cleric, librarian, or weapon smith) with its own trades.
When no players are near it takes off and circles gracefully through the air, gliding on its wings before descending again to land.
Angels stay close to their home area, never take fall damage, and can be healed by feeding them Ambrosium Shards. When an Angel dies it petrifies into a stone Petrified Angel statue where it fell, which can later be revived back into a living Angel using an Ambrosium Shard.
Spawning
Angels spawn on the surface of the Aether in small groups of one or two, favoring its highland biomes and villages.

Drops
The Angel drops no items on death. Instead it turns into a Petrified Angel statue block (one of six random poses) at the spot where it died, which players can revive back into an Angel.
