Silver Treasure Chests are the mid-tier locked chests of the Aether, holding better loot than Bronze. Open one with a Silver Key — and watch for a hidden Mimic.
Variants
Three variants can be placed by the player, each behaving differently when opened:
Silver Chest — always contains loot; never a mimic. A guaranteed reward.
Silver Mimic Chest — always a Mimic in disguise; it springs to life and attacks when opened.
Silver Imposter Chest — a gamble: it may hold loot, or it may turn out to be a Mimic. This is how chests behave when found naturally.
Loot
Silver chests improve on Bronze: expect Zanite and Gravitite gear (some enchanted), a Tier 1 artifact, a random Relic, and the same range of consumables and resources. They commonly contain a Golden Key to reach the final tier.
Silver Treasure Chests are found in Aether structures and dungeons, and can drop from Bronze chests as a Silver Key. Placable item can be found in the creative inventory.
