At the center of every monument is an Ancient Shrine, introducing players to the shrine's unique ability to upgrade Artifacts. After the Slider has been defeated, Ancient Souls may begin appearing near these monuments, waiting to be guided to the shrine.
Some Ancient Shrine Monuments also contain Treasure Chests with valuable loot, rewarding explorers who uncover these forgotten places.

Ancient Shrine Monuments can be found scattered throughout the Aether Plains and the Lush Forest, standing as solitary monolithic structures that have endured since the fall of the Ancient Civilization.
